Meet the Team
Matt Frogley
Matt graduated from Western Sydney university in 2006. After 3 years working in both the private sector and the hospital system in Sydney, he started a clinic on the Central coast, NSW. He ran this for 5 years before deciding to move back to the place where he was raised to start a new venture.
Matt wanted to create a clinic that showcased all of his podiatric skills that he gained from down south which would cover all aspects of Podiatry, from paediatrics (children) all the way through to geriatrics (the elderly). He also has a love of fashion and shoes, which has allowed him to develop quite a range of footwear at Coastal Podiatry Group. He wanted to stock a range that were both fashionable and functional.
Matt has a keen interest in a wide range of sports such as tennis, golf and cricket. He has involved himself in the community and has given sponsorships to a few local days and local sporting teams. His keen interest in sport has allowed his knowledge and treatment of sports injuries to develop a thorough biomechanical assessment setup in the clinic. Whether a recent acute injury or a long term chronic problem, Matt prides himself on his thorough analysis and assessment before deciding on his management approach.
His ongoing education and further studies have also seen him develop further specialty techniques in administering local anaesthetics and treating conditions such as plantar warts via minimal excision surgery.
Micaela Bellette
I completed my Masters of Podiatric Practice and Science in Melbourne with a focus on the complexities of the lower limb, foot and ankle. My interest in podiatry stems from a deep fascination with the intricate structures of the foot and how they impact our overall well-being. Whether it's addressing chronic foot pain, managing skin conditions, caring for diabetic patients, performing precise toenail surgeries, or ensuring that children’s feet develop properly, I strive to offer the highest level of expertise and care. Outside of the clinic, I cherish time spent with my wonderful family. My husband and I are proud parents to a beautiful daughter Delilah, and our home is complete with the joyful presence of our two beloved dogs. Balancing my professional and personal life keeps me grounded and motivated to continually grow as both a podiatrist and a mother. What I love about Coastal Podiatry group is, we believe in a holistic approach to foot care, ensuring that each patient receives individualised treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. I look forward to meeting you and helping you walk comfortably through life.
Jo Pollett
Jo is our newest Podiatrist to Coastal Podiatry Group. Jo has been working in the Northern Rivers region as a podiatrist for the last 6.5 years. After graduating in 2016 from Western Sydney University, she moved to the North Coast to start Podiatry work and undertake a second bachelor’s degree in Pedorthics at Southern Cross University. Pedorthics is the profession concerned with the provision of medical grade and custom footwear. Jo completed this course in mid-2019, by which time she was heavily pregnant with her first child. Now with 2 small kids, she has limited spare time to practice her custom making skills, though still has a keen interest in all things footwear. Jo’s other key area of interest is mobile podiatry, delivering an in-home Podiatry service to those unable to access the clinic.
When Jo is not at work, she can usually be found at a local park with her kids.
